The outdoor high-voltage vacuum circuit breaker (hereinafter referred to as the circuit breaker) is an outdoor power distribution equipment with a rated voltage of 12 kV and a three-phase AC 50Hz. It is mainly used to open and close the load current, overload current and short-circuit current in the power system. It is suitable for use in power transformation substations and industrial and mining enterprise power distribution systems as protection and control. This circuit breaker has the characteristics of small size, light weight, dust-proof, maintenance-free, and can adapt to harsh climatic conditions and polluted environments. It is also suitable for frequent operation in rural power grids. The circuit breaker is combined with an intelligent control unit. It can be operated locally for opening and closing the switch, or remotely controlled by remote communication interfaces. Other information of the circuit breaker can also be transmitted to the control center. The communication channel can be selected from cables, optical fibers, GPRS/CDMA, GSM, etc.
The circuit breaker adopts a three-phase pillar structure, featuring stable and reliable breaking performance, no risk of combustion or explosion, no need for maintenance, small size, light weight, and long service life.
The circuit breaker can be equipped with two-phase or three-phase current transformers for overcurrent or short-circuit protection, and it can also provide current collection signals for the intelligent controller. According to user requirements, metering current transformers can be added.
The circuit breaker can be equipped with a three-phase interlocking disconnect switch. When the disconnect switch is in the open position, there is a clearly visible break. It also has an anti-misoperation interlock device between the circuit breaker body and the disconnect switch. The circuit breaker can only be operated when the disconnect switch is fully closed or fully opened. It can also be connected with a lightning arrester support insulator, making maintenance convenient.
